A dedicated SEN secondary school in Southwark is seeking a reliable and caring Personal Care Teaching Assistant to support students with complex physical and medical needs.

The Role:

Provide personal care including toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance

Support students with physical disabilities, autism, and learning difficulties

Assist in classroom learning and encourage student independence

Work closely with therapists, SEN staff, and the wider support team

Requirements:

Experience with personal care in a school or care setting

Comfortable using hoists and following care plans (training provided if needed)

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Patient, respectful, and professional approach to care and support
