HGV Class 2 Driver Salary & Benefits:

* Starting Salary: £46,000 per annum, with the potential to earn up to £53,000 through overtime

* Overtime Rate: Time and a half for any extra hours

HGV Class 2 Driver Role Details:

* Shift Pattern: 4 shifts per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday)

* Shift Start Times: Between 02:30 am and 07:30 am

* Main Duties:

* Deliver chilled goods to shops and restaurants in the local area

* Unload deliveries using an electric pallet truck

* Conduct vehicle checks and complete delivery paperwork

* Ensure timely deliveries and provide excellent customer service

* Work as part of a team to meet delivery targets

* Adhere to company policies and procedures

HGV Class 2 Driver Requirements:

* Valid HGV Class 2 (C) Driving Licence

* Driver CPC qualification

* Digital Tachograph Card

* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

* Ability to meet deadlines and work within a fast-paced environment
