English teacher - Brighton Area

You’ll be working as an English teacher at a “good” rated school in Brighton and Hove, Sussex from January 2026. The students have excellent behaviour and you will be joining a committed and positive staff team. Examination results in English have increased consistently over recent years, and we require a teacher who can play a key role in building on this success. The school wants students to achieve highly and develop a love of language and literature. You will be joining a vibrant department where all teachers are committed to improving students’ progress as well as providing a range of exciting extra-curricular opportunities. The school is also easily accessible by car and public transport.

• An experienced teacher with QTS (NQTs will be considered)
• Demonstrable history of teaching English to a high standard
• Enthusiasm and creativity when delivering lessons to students of all ages and abilities
• Proven experience in developing teaching & learning within an English department
