Key responsibility's

* Manage the commercial delivery of responsive repairs, voids, cyclical maintenance, and capital projects.

* Monitor contractor performance, valuations, variations, and final accounts.

* Provide accurate cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.

* Ensure contracts comply with statutory, regulatory, and procurement requirements.

* Support procurement activity, tender evaluations, and contract mobilisation.

* Carry out site visits, cost assessments, and quality checks.

* Provide professional QS advice to operational teams and senior management.

* Contribute to continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and value‑for‑money initiatives.

About you:

* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within social housing, construction, repairs, or maintenance.

* Strong knowledge of Schedule of Rates (SOR), JCT, and NEC contracts.

* Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.

* Confidence managing contractor relationships and challenging costs.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
