NJR Recruitment is delighted to be representing a growing financial planning firm that is looking for a motivated and professional Financial Planning Associate to join their Altrincham office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with financial services administration experience who enjoys building strong client relationships and thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment.
The Role
As a Financial Planning Associate, you’ll be part of a dedicated team supporting advisers, colleagues, and clients, ensuring a smooth and professional service at every stage. You’ll manage client records, handle queries, and assist with compliance processes, while developing your knowledge of the financial planning industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to advisers, colleagues, and clients
- Maintain and update accurate client records and CRM systems
- Assist with preparing and checking documentation to meet compliance requirements
- Support with client enquiries, both over the phone and in writing
- Contribute to the delivery of team objectives and service level agreements
- Help with general office and client support tasks, including meeting and greeting clients
- Ensure adherence to FCA regulations, Consumer Duty, and company compliance procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1–2 years’ administration experience within a financial planning/wealth management environment
- Working towards or keen to complete financial services qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational and IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to professional standards
