Account Executive / Sale Executive Circa £25,000 to £30,000 per annum 12 month fixed term contract Stevenage, Hertfordshire We are looking for an Account Executive to join the IET family! This role will be known internally as the Digital Learning Executive.
You will have experience of working in sales or new business development within a customer facing environment.
You will be focused and motivated with a working knowledge of e-learning platforms or learning environments and will be able to work on your own initiative to identify new opportunities in this market.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the IET Academy team to ensure the success of a really exciting product! This role is both office based and field-based and you will have the chance to get out and about for sales visits, ensuring customer service requirements are met.
You will be joining a hardworking team, who work closely and have a strong one team approach.
Excellent communication skills are a must! Full training on our products and services will be provided.

Day to Day Responsibilities (summary) Help research new customers through desk and telephone research Respond to customer queries following requests for information Qualify sales opportunities through customer contact and opportunity evaluation Pass qualified sales leads to the Corporate Sales Manager Assist in sales visits ensuring customer requirements are met Track trials and follow up depending on customer requirements Provide ongoing support for customers Liaise with partners and clients to provide end to end e-learning solution for customers including sourcing exam partners and processing exam requests Maintain contact with customers to ensure that the learning experience matches their requirements Identify any new opportunities to the Academy’s current customer base Provides any necessary support as the IET Academy evolves such as order processing To work collaboratively with colleagues and teams to identify sales opportunities for The IET Academy Key Skills Excellent customer care skills including sensitivity to the needs of the customer.
Knowledge of digital learning platforms and delivery methods.
Experience of working within a customer facing environment Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Discreet and diplomatic in the handling of confidential and sensitive information.
Strong communication skills.
Exceptional organisations skills.
Excellent IT abilities and experience with MS office (particularly Excel and MS Word).
Able to work productively on their own initiative; results-oriented Good research and investigation skills.
