Reporting to the Assistant Director - Campus Services, the Head of Maintenance is responsible for managing all maintenance activities at the University, relating to statutory, planned, preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance. You will be the University’s expert on maintenance ensuring that the maintenance activity enhances the campus experience. The successful postholder will also provide strategic advice on the maintenance strategy and ensuring contracts are in place to support the University estate.
The ideal candidate will ideally be degree qualified and hold a relevant professional qualification and have a good knowledge and experience of delivering the maintenance requirements of a diverse and large estate. You will be an adept leader, with strong people management skills who can develop effective internal and external relationships. This is a role that will suit ‘can do’ individuals with a high level of personal drive and energy to deliver a user focused FM service.
