SHORT TERM DELIVERABLES Identify and lead new business opportunities. Cold Call new leads Execute effective sales and marketing strategies designed to gain NEW business for Nexus with a minimum expectation of closing one to two accounts a quarter. Put into practice a plan for consistent follow-up in order to maintain ongoing relationships with all clients. Demonstrate strong ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously. Develop high level relationships with client CFO's, Directors, and Senior Executives while concurrently establishing a web of influence at the tactical/operational levels of an organization. Evaluating the geographical area concentrating on profitability of proposed accounts and chosen industry sectors. Prospect, qualify, propose, and create sustainable business partnership Maintain regular contact with prospects and target opportunities Utilize multiple networking sources, including social media, to identify prospects Create, work, and update a target list and forecasting tools Design account specific sales strategies Report and share information with the Managing Director to ensure they are kept fully informed on the condition of the organization and important factors influencing it. Ensure highly productive relationships and partnerships for the benefit of the organization. Prepare, practice, and deliver professional proposals and presentations Consult with and advise senior leaders, in partnership with internal staff to assess, diagnose, plan and implement strategic staffing solutions to support organizational talent objectives for internal mobility and external talent acquisition. Tour client facilities and complete on-site evaluations as feasible. Other duties as requested to enhance prospect and client relationships Process new client paperwork in timely manner Assist with networking events as expected Create, follow, update, and evaluate quarterly goals with Managing Director LONGER TERM OBJECTIVES Drive the sales strategy Partner with internal team to implement a sales and recruiting process for all levels of talent and system to drive higher conversion rates, quality of hire and key talent metrics Manage negotiations with new and existing clients. REQUIREMENTS Previous outside sales, new business development experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong computer skills Proficiency with utilizing social media Good organizational skills, the ability to work with people across all levels of an organization (gatekeepers to executive decision makers), and professional communication skills are other key traits for this position Possess a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit Successful track record in recruiting A-Players and growing regional companies 2-4 years of experience in a sales function in the Staffing & Recruiting Industry. Deep understanding of the sales process, key sales metrics, and how to drive them to deliver successful outcome with an attention to detail Results oriented, self-starter who enjoys a challenge and is dedicated to “rolling up the sleeves” and getting the job done with minimal support and direction Proven track record of building strong relationships with internal clients and for creating a consultative approach.
