About the Role

We're working with a leading structural steel contractor looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor with proven experience in steelwork. This is a permanent, full-time position based in their Bristol office, joining a business known for its strong values, low staff turnover, and fair treatment of employees.

• Manage all commercial aspects of structural steel projects

• Prepare tenders, take-offs, and pricing for upcoming works

• Monitor project costs and ensure budgets are maintained

• Work closely with the Commercial Lead and wider project team

• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments

• Assist with valuations, change orders, and final accounts

• Extensive and recent experience in structural steel - essential

• Proven ability to price and run projects independently

• A commercially minded individual with excellent attention to detail

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management

• A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to grow with the team
