Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Our welcoming Secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Bolton is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant - Intervention Worker to join our supportive team.

As an Intervention Worker, you will:

• Provide targeted academic and emotional support to students with SEMH needs

• Deliver small-group and 1:1 interventions to help pupils re-engage with learning

• Build positive, trusting relationships with students to promote confidence and wellbeing

• Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external professionals

• Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service

• Two relevant references covering the last 24 months

• Experience supporting children or young people, ideally within SEMH or similar settings

• A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach

• A highly supportive and experienced school team

• Ongoing training and professional development
