A leading Environmental Consultancy is actively seeking an Account Manager to join the team, due to continued growth within the UK.
A bit about the company:
An independent, family-owned company, offering a comprehensive analytical and consultancy service covering a broad range of environmental and health & safety issues. Their expertise includes occupational hygiene, asbestos surveying, chemical analysis, and bespoke environmental science services, both in the laboratory and in the field.
The role:
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will fulfil a key role within the Business Development team, managing existing client accounts across the business’s key sectors, namely, Chemicals & Microbiological testing, Asbestos and Occupational Hygiene.
You will be required to engage with clients via telephone, email and face-to-face when required, with responsibility for maintaining and growing the key client base.
To be considered:
The preferred candidate will ideally hold a degree (or equivalent) in a Life Science or an Environmental Science discipline with experience of technical sales and/or account management, both in a client-facing and telesales capacity. You will be an articulate communicator, both written and verbally.
A results-orientated, self-starter with a commercial mindset who is able to prioritise activities in order to achieve growth.
Technical sales & account management training will be given as part of your ongoing professional development
This will be a hybrid role, working remotely from home and from the offices in Fareham.
A full UK driving license and car will be essential, as you will be required to visit customer sites in the future.
