Youth Worker- About the role

We are currently looking for a Youth Worker who has a SEN/SEMH background and loves making a change in a child's life that has special needs. You will be based in a KS3/4 classroom and the children are diagnosed with Autism and Social emotional mental health difficulties. No two days will be the same therefore you should be up for a challenge and have strong behaviour management. You need to be able to build good relationship with students and teachers and be an exceptional role model to the small group of students you will be mentoring.

Youth Worker- About the school

Qualiteach are working with an Outstanding SEMH/SEN school. The school is in the centre of Lewisham with great transport links, the underground station is near to the school and parking on site is available. This SEN school caters for students between the ages of 5-16 years old with autism, SEMH, and additional needs. All students are on the EHCP. The school caters for 310 students and class sizes vary from 8-10 pupils.
