White Label is working with a well-established MEP design consultancy based in Bradford that's looking to bring in a Design Engineer with a background in mechanical building services.

This is a key role in a close-knit team that values quality, consistency, and clear communication. You'll be supporting engineers across a range of sectors - education, healthcare, residential, and commercial - producing detailed mechanical layouts for HVAC, hot and cold water, and associated plant.

My client is open to candidate with 2-3 years of experience up to senior level with the salary being between £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities of the Building Services Design Engineer

* Creating accurate 2D drawings and schematics using AutoCAD

* Working closely with Mechanical Engineers to deliver coordinated designs

* Maintaining drawing standards and document control

* Supporting engineers with markups, revisions and project updates

* Assisting in the production of O&M manuals and record drawings

Experience required of the Building Services Design Engineer

* Experience producing mechanical building services drawings

* Strong AutoCAD skills (2D essential; 3D advantageous)

* Understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, pipework and plant layouts

* Ability to work from engineer markups and specifications

* Good communicator, organised, and proactive in your approach

* Ideally 2+ years' experience in a similar role
