Reed Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Scunthorpe after the Easter break. This is a full-time position, ideal for an educator who is passionate about supporting pupils through the pivotal final stage of primary education.

We are seeking a teacher who can confidently lead a Year 6 class through their SATs journey and beyond. The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience preparing students for Key Stage 2 SATs, including implementing effective strategies to boost confidence and performance.
• A strong track record of driving pupil progress, ensuring students are supported in achieving age-related outcomes.
• Excellent classroom management, with the ability to create a structured, positive learning environment.
• A commitment to raising standards, delivering high-quality teaching, and nurturing student development.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant UK teaching experience.

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Year 6 curriculum.
• Monitoring, assessing, and tracking pupil progress effectively.
• Preparing students thoroughly for SATs through targeted teaching and intervention.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high expectations and consistent support.
• Contributing to the wider school community where required.
