We're looking for a hands-on Network Support Engineer to join our client's IT team in Norwich, providing vital support for 24/7 onshore and offshore operations.

This is a practical, varied role covering installation, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and seeing jobs through from start to finish.

Office-based Mon-Fri in Norwich with regular UK site/offshore travel. Includes on-call rota for critical events. 

What you'll do:

Manage and support network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP)
Troubleshoot and resolve issues via the IT Helpdesk system
Monitor network performance and minimise downtime
Support offshore telecoms equipment and site-to-site radio links
Work with the Group Network Team (Paris) and liaise with WAN providers
Maintain accurate records, backups, and recovery plansWhat we're looking for:

Extension knowledge and experience working within the Cisco command line (or higher)
Strong knowledge of IP networks, routing, switching, and security
Hands-on experience with Cisco kit and VoIP
Problem-solving mindset, practical approach, and ability to work independently or in a teamWhat's on offer:
