We're on the lookout for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk for a well-established, Leicester based manufacturing business.
This position is on a permanent basis working part time of 2 days per week (Monday & Tuesday) 9am to 5pm.

The role:
⦁ Purchase Ledger integrity i.e., matching, checking, inputting onto system
⦁ Non-Stock invoicing - expenses, utilities etc
⦁ Assisting with month end ledger closedowns
⦁ Responsible for Petty Cash & Company Cash Book
⦁ Posting of cash receipts onto Sales Ledger
⦁ Issuing payments, gaining authorisations and setting up bank details
⦁ Provide cover for other members of the Finance Team ie Credit Control and Accounts in times of holiday, sickness or other absence agreed
⦁ Monitoring and reconciliation of credit card transactions
⦁ Credit checks
⦁ Any other reasonable duties requested by Management

The person:
⦁ Have previous experience in a similar finance position
⦁ Possess knowledge of all accounts/credit control operations
⦁ Good IT skills (Microsoft package) with the ability to be a quick learner on systems
⦁ Strong communication skills (verbal & written)

The package:
⦁ Permanent Part Time
⦁ Monday and Tuesday 9am to 5pm
⦁ Office based
⦁ £11.00 - £11.50 per hour, up to £9000 per annum for the 2 days per week
