Teaching Assistants

£9.77 - £11.00 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Level 2 qualification in Childcare.

Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Primary trained Teaching Assistant with 121 support experience to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary school in Ashton, Tameside. This is a fixed term 121 support Teaching Assistant role, which will begin in January 2020 until July 2021.

The role

Working as part of a dynamic and creative Primary team the 121 support Teaching Assistant will focus on providing 1:1 support for a child with special education needs. This role will be full-time, and working hours will be 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

To be considered for this 121 support Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Have a minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare.

• Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant (TA) within the last 2 years.

• Have experience working in a primary school setting working in small groups and 1-1 support. 

• Have a genuine desire to part of a strong primary school staffing structure.

• Have experience of working in either an EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2) settings
