Print Finishing Manager (Litho and Digital)

My client are a market leader in the marketing and communications side of the print industry, currently, they are seeking an experienced Print Finishing Manager to work closely with their Head of Production.

The successful candidate will be a key figure in the business, and oversee the efficient running of the print finishing department.

The Role:

  • Manage the litho and digital finishing department
  • Gain expertise of the range of services provided in the department
  • Understand the various finishing processes, equipment and products within the department
  • Operate a range of folding, guillotine, stitching, perfect binding, lamination and one piece mailing equipment
  • Ensure that all of the correct procedures are followed for ISO quality checking and the appropriate paperwork is completed
  • Help ensure that all of the departments SLA’s are met
  • Perform required daily machine safety checks
  • Raise and log all engineer calls
  • Achieve team and individual targets set by the management team
  • Complete time sheets and quality control documentation
  • Undertake support tasks as required by the senior management team
  • Complete projects as and when requested by the Production Director.

The Candidate:

  • At least 2 years experience within a similar role
  • Experience within a print, finishing, mailing environment both litho and digital
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • PC literate with a good understanding of management information systems
  • Good telephone manner and techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to deal with multiple projects at one time
  • Team player, able and willing to assist other members of the team
  • Flexible and able to cope under pressure
  • Able to ensure that all documentation is complete and accurate
  • Be willing and able to work overtime at short notice and to cover holidays and sickness when required.


Salary & Benefits
A competitive salary is on offer for this role up to £45,000 based on experience.
Plus 20 days holidays plus Bank Holidays, pension, and more.
Typical working hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm. This is a site based role.
