Contract CNC Turner

Location: Greater Manchester, Bury

Duration: 8 weeks (possible extension)

Rate: £16 per hour

An opportunity has opened for a Contract CNC Turner to join a manufacturing company in Greater Manchester for an initial 8 week contract with a view to extend. The ideal candidate will have experience setting and operating 5 axis CNC machines and will have experience with Fanuc controls.

Contract CNC Turner Key Skills:

* Experience of setting and operating CNC lathes

* Fanuc controls experience

* Experience working with 5 axis CNC systems

* Programming experience would be ideal

* Any CAD/CAM experience would be a bonus - Hypermill

Contract CNC Turner Responsibilities:

* Setting and operating 5 axis CNC machines

* Working on projects from various industries including aerospace

* Working with tight tolerances

* Materials are mainly various types of metals

* Programming using CAD/CAM software
