Leader Group is proud to be partnering with a renowned Therapeutic Education Service provider to recruit passionate Teachers and Support Staff. We currently have an outstanding opportunity available for a qualified SEND Teacher in Wythenshawe to teach English and Maths.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a specialist team supporting students with social, emotional and mental health challenges, communication difficulties, and trauma-related behaviours. As part of a nurturing and innovative team, your responsibilities will include:

Teaching and supporting students with a range of special educational needs (SEN).
Delivering engaging English lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Setting, marking and providing constructive feedback on assignments, homework, and assessments.
Supporting pupils in gaining a strong command of spoken and written English, enabling them to communicate confidently and effectively.
Ideal Candidate: We are seeking someone who is:

Passionate about working with students with SEND.
Specialism in Maths and/or English.
Experienced - ideally with at least 2 years in a SEND environment or similar provision.
Qualified - QTS/QTLS is essential.
Committed to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.
About the School: This SEN School supports pupils aged 11-16. The school is designed for students who have not thrived in mainstream settings and require a more therapeutic approach to learning in a nurturing learning environment. Many of the pupils have experienced trauma or social difficulties. That's why we go beyond the typical classroom, providing specialised interventions and a team-based approach to helping young people reach their potential.
