Children and Young Peoples Worker to support a frontline service working with children and young people affected by domestic abuse. This is a Children and Young Peoples Worker role delivering support, guidance and interventions within a multi-agency environment.
The role You will work as a Children and Young Peoples Worker supporting children, young people and families to address needs, improve safety and achieve positive outcomes.
Shift pattern - 35 hours or 16 hours available
Duties - Providing direct support to children and young people as a Children and Young Peoples Worker
- Completing risk assessments and developing safety and support plans
- Managing a caseload and prioritising work effectively
- Working with families to support positive outcomes and wellbeing
- Liaising with partner agencies and contributing to multi agency meetings
- Promoting emotional wellbeing, resilience and independence
Requirements - Enhanced DBS required
- Multi agency working required
- Caseload management as a Children and Young Peoples Worker experience ( 1 year)
