Are you a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young children with additional needs? We are recruiting for a full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a Reception-aged pupil in a primary school in South Birmingham. This rewarding position requires a nurturing and committed individual who can provide consistent support throughout the academic year.

About the Role:
  • Supporting a pupil in Reception with communication difficulties

  • Providing personal care as part of the daily routine (this is essential)

  • Working in and out of the classroom, adapting to the pupil's needs throughout the day

  • Collaborating closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and external professionals to support the child's development

  • Building a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for the pupil to thrive in

Ideal Candidate:

  • Flexible and proactive, able to support the pupil both in class and during time outside of class

  • Based in or able to travel easily to South Birmingham
