️ Job Opportunity: Senior Cook / Chef
Location: Maidstone
Salary: Up to £15 per hour
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week
Weekend & some evening shifts required

Are you a passionate cook who loves making hearty, wholesome meals that truly make a difference? Our client in Maidstone is looking for experienced and motivated Cooks or Chefs to join our team as they expand their much-loved café.

What You'll Be Doing:

Preparing nutritious, home-style meals.
Creating weekly menus and planning ahead with batch cooking & freezing
Managing food ordering and stock levels
Working closely with a small, friendly support team
Cooking and serving for breakfast, lunch, and evening meals
Supporting occasional evening functions
Balancing the needs of residents with the café's wider public offeringWhat We're Looking For:

An experienced cook or chef - formal qualifications not essential
Confident planning menus and running a kitchen efficiently
Skilled in batch cooking and prepping meals for reheating
Reliable, flexible, and happy to work weekends and some evenings
A great team player ready to grow with us
An understanding of basic nutrition (with support from our team)Shift Patterns May Include:

7am-3pm
9am-5pm
11am-7pmThis is initially a temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent.
