An industry-leading digital studio based in London are looking to take on a UE4 Technical Artist, on a contract basis, to work on a AAA PC/Console title. The project is due to start towards the end of May.
The client in question are a well-known gaming company who have been steadily growing on the back of the success of their initial releases. UE4 Technical Artist Role
They are looking for candidates who can be responsible for prototyping gameplay assets on one of the company's key current projects. You will liaise with both the Art and Programming departments, improving the pipeline and more general development practices
UE4 Technical Artist Requirements
They are looking for candidates with the following experience:
- Experience as a Technical Artist on shipped titles, preferably AAA
- Extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine and the pipeline
- Strong knowledge of current game content creation workflows
- Scripting knowledge and/or blueprints
Any knowledge of Houdini will be a massive benefit.
They are offering a daily rate of £250 - £300 per day and the chance to work on a high-profile gaming project.
There will be an initial call with the Team Lead, in addition to a detailed run-through of the upcoming and ongoing projects. .
