Production Operative - Extrusion
Location: Leeds
Full-Time | Double Days | 6am - 2pm/ 2pm - 10pm | Permanent Position
Our client is a leading manufacturer of polythene film for the packaging industry!
We are currently looking for a hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious Production Operative to support the production teams on-site. This is a hands-on role offering great long-term opportunities for progression in a stable and growing business.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Assisting Technical Operators and Supervisor with production tasks
*
Feeding raw materials into machines
*
Wrapping, stacking, and moving finished goods
*
Keeping the working area clean, safe, and organised
*
Supporting with machine changeovers and basic maintenance tasks
*
Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
✅ What We're Looking For:
*
Previous experience working around Extruders or Extrusion Machinery would be nice, but not essential.
*
Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred
*
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
*
Good level of physical fitness - this is a manual role
*
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
*
Flexible with working hours - shift work required
*
Counterbalance FLT License preferred.
