Position: Technical Service Specialist

Salary: £37,000 - £45,000 per annum

Role Overview:
I am recruiting a qualified Gas Engineer with experience in domestic and commercial systems for a mainly support-focused role. The position involves providing technical advice and assisting the field team with escalated issues, with minimal hands-on work.

We have a vacancy for someone with a gas engineer background, working primarily off the tools, except when supporting escalations. Please confirm if you are looking to move into a role away from the tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and guidance to on-site engineers

Troubleshoot and resolve complex gas-related problems remotely and on-site when needed

Assist with escalated service calls to ensure timely resolution

Ensure compliance with gas safety regulations and best practices

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Gas Engineer with current relevant certification (Gas Safe registration essential)

Experience working with domestic and commercial gas systems

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Good communication skills for liaising with customers and colleagues
