Maintenance Technician
Salary: £30,000-£35,000
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday (08:00-16:30)
Location: Newport based but willingness to travel to various locations throughout the UK

What You'll Be Doing
You'll carry out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks to keep properties running smoothly and looking their best. Duties will include:
General building repairs, including roofing and cladding
Plumbing maintenance and minor installations
Joinery and carpentry work
Tiling and flooring repairs
Painting and decorating
Carpet fitting and repairs
Paving and external maintenance
Drainage works
Grounds maintenance and site clearance
Pressure washing of buildings and external areas
Furniture assembly and installation
Furniture relocation and removal
What We're Looking For
At least 3 years' experience in a building trade or property maintenance role
NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating
Experience with cladding and roofing (desirable)
CSCS card (desirable)
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload
Comfortable using IT systems to log work and track materials or costs
Good understanding of health and safety procedures, including risk assessments
Strong communication skills when working across occupied sites
