We're a respected engineering firm specialising in bespoke pressure vessels for global offshore, water, and nuclear industries. Part of a dynamic portfolio of engineering businesses, we're continuing to grow - and we're on the lookout for a Manufacturing Co-ordinator to join our dedicated team in Tamworth.

About the Role

As Manufacturing Co-ordinator, you'll play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll work closely with the Projects, Manufacturing, and Quality teams - helping to manage materials, coordinate production schedules, and support shipping and logistics.

This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment and is comfortable juggling multiple tasks while keeping an eye on the finer details.

What You'll Be Doing:

Coordinate and issue production paperwork following standard procedures

*

Maintain and update production schedules in coordination with Project Managers

*

Raise and manage Purchase Orders, and chase suppliers/sub-contractors as needed

*

Support stock control and ensure materials are correctly issued to jobs

*

Arrange transport for materials and completed contracts, including shipping

*

Produce component nameplates using specialist equipment

*

Assist with quality documentation and provide cover for Goods Inwards

*

Support various teams with key admin tasks to keep projects on track

What We're Looking For:

*

Proven organisational, planning, and communication skills

*

High attention to detail with the ability to multitask

*

Strong IT skills - especially Excel and Microsoft Office

*

Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred

*

Knowledge of logistics and production operations (especially welding) is a bonus

Working Hours:

*

39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

*

Based at our facility in Tamworth

*

Flexibility with working hours may be considered for the right candidate
