Your Role:

As a Financial Services Administrator , you’ll be an integral part of the team, assisting experienced paraplanners and financial advisors. Duties include:

    • Sending out Letters of Authority promptly.
    • Contacting pension and investment providers to gather information.
    • Completing information checklists upon receipt of information.
    • Creating plan summaries on receipt of LOA information.
    • Carrying out anti-money laundering (AML) checks using SmartSearch.
    • Processing new business applications, following up with providers, and updating client files with any progress.
    • Completing processing checklists, accurately updating New Business Book record, and creating fee invoices on Xero.
    • Sorting, scanning, and distributing incoming mail.
    • Franking outgoing mail and delivering this to the Post Office.
    • Completing cash balances carefully, making sure calculations are correct and recorded on the task.
    • Setting up meeting rooms ahead of time to make sure they are tidy and ready to use.
    • Arranging drinks and refreshments for client and internal meetings to create a welcoming environment.
    • Answering incoming calls and provide friendly, professional support

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ideally, some basic understanding of financial services or a related field (but full training will be provided!).
