Transport Planner

Erith

Start Date: August 2025
Temp to 12-Month Contract (for the right person)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

About the Role

Premier Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering with a leading production company based in Erith, seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their Transport Department.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced team while supporting the delivery of a cost-effective and efficient daily transport operation.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and produce daily transport schedules in a cost-effective manner
Build relationships with sub-contractor partners
Maintain accurate and up-to-date transport records
Conduct driver debriefs and follow up on CAPAs including root-cause analysis
Support the export delivery planning process
Provide admin support to internal teams and external customers
Deliver excellent customer service across all touchpoints
Commit to ongoing personal and professional development
Carry out additional tasks as directed by management

Person Specification

Previous experience in a Transport Planning role
Strong geographical knowledge of the UK
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
A proactive and independent worker who can also operate well in a team
Customer service experience is desirable
