Cleaner - College Campus - Part Time

• Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 05:30am – 08:30am)
• Salary: £9,904 per annum (Full-time equivalent £24,431.72)
• Hourly Wage: £12.69

Join our client in their facilities team as a part-time Cleaner. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for learners, staff, and visitors at our educational institution.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Carry out daily cleaning duties across designated areas, including classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal spaces.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in line with organisational procedures.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
• Clean and sanitise surfaces, furniture, and equipment.
• Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained appropriately.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow the organisation’s Health & Safety, safeguarding, and confidentiality policies.
• Work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks within the allotted hours.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role.
• Ability to work early mornings and complete physical tasks.
• Good attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Awareness of health and safety requirements, including safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
