We are currently recruiting for a QA Manager to join a leading chilled food manufacturer based in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the quality agenda, lead a skilled QA team, and work closely with technical, operations, and NPD teams to ensure the highest food safety and quality standards are met every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the site QA team to ensure effective implementation of quality systems across the factory.

*

Maintain site compliance with BRC, customer standards, and food safety legislation.

*

Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the site.

*

Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints, implementing robust corrective actions.

*

Manage site audits (internal, customer, third-party) and ensure audit readiness at all times.

*

Work closely with production teams to ensure product quality, hygiene standards, and GMP are consistently maintained.

*

Oversee the training and development of QA staff to build a high-performing team.

*

Support NPD and process trials from a quality perspective.

Key Requirements:

*

Proven experience in a QA Manager, Quality Supervisor, or Senior QA role within chilled food manufacturing.

*

Strong understanding of BRCGS, HACCP, and retailer standards (Tesco, M&S, Aldi etc.).

*

Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.

*

A proactive, hands-on approach and keen attention to detail.

*

Relevant food safety qualifications (e.g. HACCP Level 3 or higher, Food Safety Level 3+).

*

Comfortable working in a chilled, fast-paced production environment.
