Are you an experienced Finance Manager, happy to commit to 12-18 months fixed term contract?

This has a potential to go permanent due to significant growth of the companies in the group and further expansion to the European side in 2025.

You will be supporting the Head of Finance and will be responsible for the preparation and close down of month end, including stock processes, journals, accruals and prepayments, keeping the workload under control for month end.

You'll be responsible for managing 5 members of the finance team, providing assistance when required as well as training.

You'll maintain and review all financial controls and systems, identifying and recommending potential efficiencies. With your attention to detail, you'll really make an impact; you'll solve problems and have the freedom to implement changes that will help the business continue to grow.

You will review the management accounts packs for six trading companies, and you will support the development of your management accountant by helping them to understand your adjustments.

You may be a qualified chartered accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent), but you will also be considered if you are qualified by experience and can demonstrate sound technical accounting knowledge.

However, you trained as an accountant, you will have continued your career development within a commercial business environment.

No excessive hours here - it's Monday to Friday, from 9 am until 5 pm.
