We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant 3 / Cover Supervisor to join our team in Luton on a permanent, part-time basis. This role will be based across two well-resourced sites and involves working closely with pupils with a range of learning needs.

You will actively support all areas of the curriculum and play a key role in helping our pupils make progress, both academically and socially. Our approach is fun, inclusive, and celebrates every small step of achievement made by our learners.

As a Teaching Assistant 3 / Cover Supervisor, you will be expected to cover classes using provided planning, ensuring continuity of learning in a supportive and structured environment.

Key Requirements of a Teaching Assistant 3 / Cover Supervisor:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
Strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
Ability to Commute to Luton
Leadership and communication skills
Experience or knowledge of special educational needs is desirable, but full induction and ongoing training are provided

Hours:

Monday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Tuesday to Friday: 8:30am - 3:30pm

This Luton school is a specialist primary provision supporting children with severe and complex learning difficulties, including a significant proportion with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). All pupils have an Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan, and we are proud of our nurturing, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

This SEN School operate across two sites in Luton and support approximately 280 pupils across 35 classes, carefully grouped by age and developmental stage. Our curriculum is broad, flexible, and responsive to each child's individual needs, with a strong focus on communication, independence, and social interaction.
