Tradewind are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join a well-established, friendly primary school located in the Flixton area of Trafford. This is a full-time position commencing in September 2025 and will run for the entire academic year. You will be paid to scale for this role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed professional who is passionate about preparing children for the transition to secondary school and wants to work in a supportive and community-focused environment.

You will be responsible for delivering a rich and engaging curriculum to a Year 6 class, preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs) and ensuring they are ready academically, socially, and emotionally for the next stage in their education.

The successful candidate will:

Plan and deliver creative, challenging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Support pupils' progress with high expectations and effective assessment
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leadership
Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Contribute to school life, events, and the wider communityThe school is based in the Flixton area of Trafford, a well-connected, leafy suburb of Greater Manchester.
