Reed Care & Support is recruiting Children’s Residential Support Workers to support residential homes across Rotherham, including mainstream and disabilities services. This role is ideal for those seeking flexible shifts, extra hours, or top-up work.

What is CPI Training?

CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training gives you the confidence and skills to safely support young people who may display challenging behaviour. You’ll learn:

• De-escalation techniques
• Trauma-informed approaches
• Respectful and safe intervention methods

CPI training is essential for this role – training can be provided if you’re willing to complete it.

The Role

As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will:

• Work under the guidance of the Registered Manager, Senior Staff and Care Officers
• Support children and young people with their emotional, social and physical needs
• Build positive, trusting and consistent relationships
• Safely manage challenging behaviour using CPI techniques
• Be a valued part of a supportive and dedicated residential team
