Our client based in Desborough is recruiting a Sales Co-ordinator on a permanent basis. The role will entail working in a busy sales office environment managing both UK and Export Sales orders, both B2C and B2B.

The main purpose of this role is to manage the flow of orders and ensuring they are despatched efficiently. You will be the initial point of contact with customers who make contact via the phone/internet, and will assist with the smooth running of input to despatch of orders.   You will be working closely with the sales team to provide support and information when requested, assist with the B2B and B2C websites and working with a range of customers both trade and consumer, UK & Export.

MAIN TASKS

Answering incoming calls quickly and in a professional manner.
Inputting orders and ensuring through put into system and warehouse.
Working with customers both trade and consumer to ensure smooth supply of orders. Answering any questions.
Handling any challenges that may occur.
Supporting and working closely with the Sales Team.Sales Co-ordination (As part of a Team)

Working closely with internal team to ensure best service is provided for customers.
Taking orders from both Sales Account Managers and customers via the phone, e-mail and Websites.
Processing orders (SAGE).
Where out of stocks occur - working closely with both Purchasing and Work Planning Departments in order to ascertain stock availability.
Keeping customers advised on the progress of their orders.
Assembling orders to picking notes and passing these to Despatch for picking and despatch.
Invoicing orders once they are despatched.
Export Order processing.
Keeping customer price lists up to date in order to minimise pricing errors.
Responsibility for own filing.
Working with Export customers confirming orders, gaining and sharing shipping information.The successful candidate will have previous sales administration experience - ideally with SAGE, and be able to work on their own initiative.  You will need to be highly organised with a good attention to detail and possess excellent communication skills.
