We're looking for a resilient, empathetic, and passionate Night Team Manager to join our team at our Children's Secure Home - a nationally recognised and trauma-informed service caring for some of the most vulnerable young people aged 10 to 18. This is more than a job - it's a chance to lead with purpose, support lasting change, and help young lives find a brighter path.

About the Role

As a Night Team Manager, you'll oversee a dedicated team of residential night staff, ensuring that each young person feels safe, supported, and nurtured through the night. You'll lead by example - fostering trauma-informed, solution-focused care, developing your team, and championing best practice.

You'll play a crucial role in:

Developing a skilled, reflective, and motivated night team
Driving quality care in line with Children's Homes Regulations
Managing complex risk and behaviour with calm and confidence
Working closely with multidisciplinary professionals
Helping each young person move forward with trust and stability

About You

You are an emotionally intelligent leader who knows how to engage teams and connect with young people - even those who've experienced significant trauma or challenge.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

A Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
Experience in residential care, youth justice or secure environments
A strong grasp of trauma-informed practice and adolescent development
Confidence in managing teams, rotas, risk, and staff development
High-level communication skills and a solution-focused mindsetAnd if you're not already qualified at Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care - don't worry. We'll support you to get there.
