Job: Site Assistant

School: Secondary Academy, London Borough of Lewisham, Southeast London

Start date: As soon as possible 

Contract: Temporary, 35 hours per week, 52 weeks a year, until July 2026

Aston Education is looking for a Site Assistant for a large secondary school with excellent facilities in London Borough of Lewisham, Southeast Londonto start as soon as possible.

You'll work in the Premises / Site Management Team.

As a Site Assistant your duties will include but are not limited to:

• All aspects of building maintenance
• Ensuring security of the building at all times
• Liaising with contractors on site
• Re-stocking and replacement of supplies
• Health and Safety

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role, preferably in a school setting
• Basic DIY/Practical skills and ability to use and maintain tools and basic light machinery
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety
• Good ITC, verbal and written communication skills
• Enhanced DBS check is required
