Salary: £140 - £240/day dependant on experience and qualifications
Empowering Learning are looking for a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our welcoming secondary school in Nottingham, working across Key Stage 3,4 and potentially 5. This is for a September 2025 start.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the UK curriculum ✔ Engaging students through dynamic and interactive teaching methods ✔ Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback ✔ Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND ✔ Creating a positive learning environment that fosters curiosity and academic excellence ✔ Supporting students' personal development and academic aspirations ✔ Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to department and whole-school success ✔ Safeguarding students and ensuring their well-being remains a priority.
Desirable Attributes:
✔ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ✔ Specialises in Humanities subjects (History, Geography, Religious Studies, etc.) ✔ Strong classroom management and ability to inspire young minds ✔ Ability to differentiate lessons to support all learners ✔ Passionate about student development and education ✔ Understanding of SEND and supporting students with additional needs ✔ Highly organised, with excellent communication skills
