The Role
As a Site Services Engineer, you'll take ownership of all site utilities and facilities, ensuring reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement across the factory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing site utilities (refrigeration, steam, HVAC, water systems)
- Delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across site services
- Diagnosing faults and ensuring timely, effective repairs
- Driving improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, and sustainability
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Quality standards
- Managing contractors and service providers
- Supporting installation, commissioning, and project work
- Maintaining engineering records, reports, and COSHH systems
- Contributing to a strong continuous improvement culture

About You
- Experience within site services, facilities, or utilities engineering
- Background in manufacturing, food, FMCG, or similar regulated environments
- Recognised engineering qualification (apprenticeship/ONC/HNC or equivalent)
- Multi-skilled with both mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Strong understanding of utilities (refrigeration, steam, HVAC)
