Service Engineer

Service Administrator Salary: £35,000 - £43,000 per annum, DOE 

Orion is partnered with a well-established precision engineering business located in Lancashire which is recruiting for an experienced, motivated and electrically bias Service Engineer to join the team.

Service Engineer Responsibilities:

Maintaining CNC machinery- lathes, mills etc..
Servicing CNC machinery
Installation of precision CNC machinery
Fault finding on PLCs, fanuc & Okuma
Circuit testing
Wiring
Electrical testing of cnc machinery 
Modifications to machinery
Troubleshooting and fault finding
Customer support
UK wide travel
Potential for overseas travel 

 Service Engineer Required Experience:

Must have electrical qualifications
Must have experience fault finding on PLC's
Must have experience with circuit testing
Testing - Oscilloscope
Ideally will have experience wit EDM machinery 
Must have experience maintaining, servicing and installing CNC machinery such as lathes, milling machines etc..
Must have experience upgrading CNC parts - spindle exchange, gib adjusting etc..
Must be confident troubleshooting
Must have experience working with Fanuc and Okuma software
Must be happy to travel and stay away on site from time to time
