Job Description


Pierson Media is a marketing agency that specializes in Real Estate Marketing. We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to develop, create and execute innovative social media campaigns and drive best-in-class customer experience and engagement. A successful candidate will have a proven track record delivering results on social media campaigns, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize, plus a drive for testing, learning and making insight and data-driven decisions.

The position will utilize a combination of daily social network management, paid ad campaigns, newsletter emails, blogs, and website content to drive the social strategy for our agency and it's clients. Our long-term vision for this position is someone who can help us build our social media department, and bring on/manage key individuals to help us scale collaboratively with our Marketing Director.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Manage multiple accounts through Social Media Management Platforms
  • Provide recommendations on paid vs. organic social media opportunities
  • Run effective social media ad campaigns
  • Manage MailChimp campaigns for Pierson Media and it's clients
  • Manage Blog accounts for Pierson Media and it's clients
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Engage techniques to increate brand awareness and social engagement for Pierson Media and its clients
  • Perform research on current real estate market and communicate message across all channels
  • Create social media calendars for multiple clients
  • Create content that attracts attention, generates interest and demands to be shared by our followers and potential customers
  • Continuously execute A/B test to improve both paid and organic social performance
  • Keep a pulse on social conversations and social trends in the industry
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Oversee web content on agency and client websites
  • Accurately handle multiple simultaneous activities on tight deadlines

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of marketing/business social media experience
  • Bilingual: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish languages
  • Communication skills: Excellent writing skills are a pre-requisite as you will frequently have to write copy for marketing promotions
  • Understanding of SEO best practices including keywords, key phrases, and hashtags
  • Must have experience using various social marketing platforms, bidding technology, and/or publisher side self-serve platforms
  • Social Media: Facebook Business Manager, Hootsuite (or similar)
  • PPC: Facebook Ads Campaign Manager, Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Yahoo Gemini
  • Advanced understanding of Google Analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related field
  • Resourceful personality with exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to effectively multitask and realign focus according to changes in project demands without sacrificing work quality
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a high pressure environment, but also capable of using time productively when the team has fewer demands
  • Willing to work with a small team
  • Good sense of design (typography, color, layout, etc.)
  • Graphic Design skills is a plus
  • Creative: Ability to generate new out of the box ideas
  • Must bring a positive attitude
