Deputy Nursery Manager - Harlow, Essex

Loyal Blue Recruitment is working on behalf of a warm and inspiring nursery group with a strong reputation for excellence in early years care. We are now hiring for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager at their beautiful setting in Harlow, Essex.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and capable early years leader to support the Nursery Manager in delivering an exceptional standard of education and care.

About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the leadership team to ensure the nursery runs smoothly day to day, maintaining a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for children, families, and staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Manager and Room Leaders to deliver high standards of care and education

*

Overseeing daily operations and helping maintain a well-organised, compliant setting

*

Leading and motivating your team through supervision, mentoring and example

*

Conducting staff deployment and ensuring ratios are consistently met

*

Building positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals

*

Helping embed company policies, pedagogy, and safeguarding standards across the setting

*

Acting as the Designated Person in Charge in the Manager's absence

*

Contributing to administrative processes, nursery tours, audits and team development

What We're Looking For

*

A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)

*

Experience of leading and motivating a team in a nursery setting

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills

*

Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities

*

A warm, hands-on leadership style and a passion for high-quality early years care
