Job Description:

The Project Manager will lead the safe, efficient and disruption-free delivery of capital and maintenance projects across the site. This Facilities Project Manager role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning and handover, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, in full and within budget.

As a Project Manager, you will ensure full compliance with CDM Regulations and all health, safety and environmental standards, promoting a strong culture of zero harm. You will develop clear project scopes, specifications and objectives, while coordinating multidisciplinary design and construction teams.

The Project Manager will manage multiple concurrent projects, overseeing budgets, forecasting costs and implementing robust change control processes. You will work closely with contractors and specialists, reviewing and challenging quotations to ensure value and performance.

In this Project Manager position, you will also be responsible for identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure safe and successful delivery. Strong stakeholder engagement will be essential, ensuring clear communication, alignment of priorities and minimal disruption to production.

Additionally, the Project Manager will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support team development and help drive best-in-class project delivery standards across the Facilities function.

Skills & experience:

* Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Manager or similar project delivery role.

* Proven experience managing full project lifecycles from concept to handover.

* Strong construction management and contractor coordination experience.

* Experience managing multiple concurrent projects of varying size and complexity.

* Budget management, forecasting and cost control expertise.

* Knowledge of construction contracts (NEC, JCT or similar).

* Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Piping or Construction).

* Understanding of CDM Regulations and health & safety compliance.

* Ability to interpret P&IDs and process flow diagrams.

* Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.

* Experience within a process, manufacturing or chemical environment (desirable)
