We're on the hunt for a dedicated Deputy Nurse Manager to join a care home in Southport. The home provides a supportive environment for young adults with mental health conditions. If you're passionate about mental health and thrive under pressure, this role could be your next career move.

This full-time role offers a salary of up to £44,000, a £2,000 welcome bonus and two supernumerary shifts. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and people management abilities, all while making a real difference in the lives of young adults.

The company operates a 40-bedded care home in Southport, providing a stimulating and specialist environment for young adults with mental health diagnoses. They are dedicated to enhancing the lives of their residents and are looking for staff who share this commitment.

As Deputy Nurse Manager, your responsibilities would include:

  • Working alongside the Registered Manager to deliver top-notch, holistic nursing care
  • Supervising a well-established nursing team to maintain the highest standards
  • Balancing nursing shifts and management time over a 40 hour week, including 2 days a week between Monday and Friday (9am-5pm) and 2 long day shifts
  • Helping individuals remain active while maintaining their dignity and independence

The ideal person for the Deputy Nurse Manager role should be:

  • A staff nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a current Pin
  • Experienced in dealing with mental health conditions
  • Excellent at communication
  • Collaborative and inclusive in their approach
  • Previous experience of working in a care environment is desirable but not essential
