Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
* Support the commercial team in the delivery of groundworks packages across multiple projects
* Assist with cost planning, valuations, and ongoing budget management
* Support subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and payment processes
* Prepare and review variations, change orders, and final accounts
* Ensure compliance with contract terms and commercial procedures
* Attend site meetings and liaise with operational teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery
* Produce regular commercial reports and assist with financial forecasting

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
* Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction (Degree, HNC, HND, T-Level, BTEC)
* Based within a commutable distance of Grantham
* Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
* Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required
