Description

Provide calibration, repair, maintenance, and other instrument support activities at various laboratories. Daily travel to various locations is a requirement. We are looking for experienced calibration technicians who want a long-term career to join our fast growing team!

Duties and Responsibilities

Calibration, preventative maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of lab equipment
Prepare calibration reports, certificates, and service orders
Communicate with customers, office staff, and other technicians
Ensure all test equipment is maintained and calibrated
Ability to juggle a variety of tasks while meeting customer deadlines
Assist in training other technicians
Great communication skills and attention to detail
Provide exceptional customer service
Ensure all work performed meets quality protocols and standards
Requirements

Experience in the calibration/validation of pipettes, balances, incubators, spectrophotometers, HPLC’s, GC’s, centrifuges, thermometers, bioreactors, fume hoods, and other lab equipment
Demonstrated knowledge of GMP regulations
Daily travel to customer sites; overnight travel may be needed
Valid driver’s license
Clean driving record
Ability to lift and carry 55lbs; standing and bending required
Computer skills like Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel); ability to learn other computer programs
