Role: IT Systems Administrator

Salary: €35K p/a

Location: Dublin 15

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain network security and performance.
• Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software as needed.
• Provide technical support to staff, resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various systems.
• Perform regular system backups and ensure disaster recovery measures are effective.
• Document processes and system configurations for future reference.
• Collaborate with other IT staff to enhance and improve overall IT policies and protocols.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT System Administrator or in a similar role. (min 1 year)
• Excellent understanding of computer systems, servers, and databases.
• Familiarity with network security and data privacy principles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud services.
• Technical certifications like CompTIA, Cisco, or Microsoft are a plus.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
