  • Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, including some evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and on-call duties)

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our Floating Support team, providing exceptional support to adults. This role is integral to ensuring that our service users receive person-centred care, enabling them to achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide direct support to service users, coordinating with families, advocates, and health and social care professionals to implement person-centred plans effectively.
  • Lead the monitoring, reviewing, and development of support services, ensuring all activities and programs are tailored to meet the individual needs of service users.
  • Manage and supervise a team of support staff, ensuring high standards of care and support are maintained at all times.
  • Utilize the Charitylog database to plan, rota, and monitor support hours and staff activities.
  • Engage in community support networks, involving professionals, volunteers, carers, and families to provide diverse opportunities and experiences for service users.
  • 70% office-based care coordination, 30% field based care work
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including Care Quality Commission and Care Act standards, and maintain up-to-date records and risk assessments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the health or social care sector, preferably supporting adults.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in staff management and development.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, capable of effectively coordinating multiple activities and adapting to changing needs.
  • Proficient in using databases like Charitylog for planning and monitoring purposes.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory standards.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
